Many of my tracks are in Irish Gaelic with includes accented vowels. The metadata in the tracks in my library include accented letters. When I import them, the accented vowels are changed and the song/artist names are changed. To make the names somewhat meaningfull, I have to modify them to remove the accented letters either in the library (using a tag editor) of in LiveWebDJ at the import stage. This is very time-consuming. Can you upgrade the s/w to accept accented letters to suit non-English alphabets?
Not only that, but many of my track information includes dashes, ampersands, apostrophes and forward slashes. It would be nice to include them to ensure accurate track reporting and display in the "Now Playing" and track history.
I hear you. Most of my tracks are from Japan. Not only do I have to deal with weird translations of songs, but the Japanese like to name their songs with some crazy characters "for marketing flavor." Extending the character set for the track tags would be awesome.
