Notification when LivewebDJ goes offline

This may have been requested previously, but is there any way that some sort of notification could be sent whenever our LiveWebDJ acct goes offline? Many times I'm unaware that my acct has gone offline until several hours have elapsed. An email and/ or text notification for such would help tremendously.:)

Thanks!

LiveWebDJ now notifies you via e-mail when an encoder fails (i.e. your stream is down). Typically this notifies you when your remote stream server goes down (i.e. your stream host is having issues). Goto Settings -> Output Encoder Alert Settings to add notification e-mail addresses or to disable this feature.

That's so helpful, thank you very much!!

I found some possible alternatives. I have never used these services, so I can't speak as to how well they work. Use at your own risk...

There is no "streamalerts.com" (any more)... any alternatives?

Sure would be a very good feature indeed.

Has anyone found a workable solution for this? Blissfully unaware of a stream being offline for a long time yesterday.

I believe StreamAlerts.com would be a great way to monitor your stream and know when it goes down. I know we are working on auto-recovery methods for LiveWebDJ in case of errors and such, but you would probably want to know if your stream goes down for other reasons too.

I agree it would be a great feature to have.
